This grant-funded position will provide services to new parents in the home including parent education and child development activities. Prior experience with social services, early childhood development, home-based services, child welfare, or child care is preferred. Experience working with diverse groups and community agencies is helpful. HS Diploma or GED, valid driver’s license with good driving record and reliable transportation are minimum requirements. Support Worker requires a High School Diploma or GED.This position will provide support services by visiting the home and educating parents on everyday life skills and child development, assessing client needs and linking them to community resources, developing individual family support plans and organizing/planning special events. Building trust relationships, visiting the home on a regular basis and teaching problem solving skills are also essential functions of this position. The Family Support Worker will promote the program, curriculum and services while advocating for parents and children
Assessment Worker requires a High School Diploma or GED. This position will conduct parent interviews and collect data, assess client needs and link them to community resources and advocate for parents and children in the community. Organize and plan special events and promote the program, curriculum and services. Insure compliance with the Healthy Family program/credentialing.
Supervisor requires a Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3 years supervisory experience along with requirements listed above. This position will provide supervision and support to the Healthy Families staff and clients. This will include weekly staff/team meetings; problem solving and troubleshooting program issues; checking files, documentation and data entry for timeliness and accuracy; and assisting with the interviewing, hiring, evaluating process. Also will include ensuring quality service delivery by talking with families, shadowing visits and implementing surveys. Help develop, direct and track in-house and HF training. Help facilitate and recruit for advisory board members and referrals to the program. Coordinate and/or assist with community meetings, public relations and fundraising activities.
Clinical Director requires a master's degree in social work or counseling.Training and experience in child, adult, and family therapy or counseling is required. A minimum of two years previous experience in either a clinical setting or residential setting is required.
