The Villages Goes Green
As The Villages continues to find innovative ways to put its financial resources where it matters most – Indiana’s children and families – you will find us “going green”. One of the first steps is producing an electronic version of Highlights two times a year, to save printing costs. We want to make sure our friends and families continue to read about us, so please forward this on and invite others to sign-up for our e-newsletter on-line.

The Spotlight Shines on The Villages
IAA LogoIn its ninth year, the Indiana Achievement Awards continues to spotlight Indiana nonprofit organizations for their excellence. This year, The Villages was among the six state-wide organizations chosen for its innovation, impact and sustainability. The Indiana Achievement Awards is the only award program that recognizes Indiana nonprofits for serving as effective organizations. Visit www.villageskids.org to view The Villages’ short video documentary received as part of the award. Congratulations to the wonderful staff, families, donors and friends of The Villages’ who work tirelessly to help make us one of the most effective nonprofits in Indiana.

Frightened mothers are protected by Indiana's Safe Haven Law - a law that allows mothers to safely surrender their baby within 45 days of birth to the care of a hospital, fire station or a police station.
