Family Preservation and Reunification
We work with families who have dedicated themselves to making necessary life changes in an effort to preserve or reunify their family. Services may include family, group and individual counseling; assessment; skill building; and mentoring. Our goal is to support biological, adoptive and kinship families in nurturing their children.
The Villages' Family Preservation and Reunification programs, which use a solution-focused, family-centered model, include diverse service components as well as wraparound services and individualized contractual arrangements.
The flexibility and progressive nature of The Villages allows us to individually contract with counties, insurance providers, individuals and other entities to provide the highest quality services to those who need it most—children and their families.
Supervised Visitation Services
Through The Villages, supervised visitation services are individualized to meet the needs of the children and families we serve. Prior to any visitation, meetings are scheduled with all parties involved to negotiate the goals of the visitation.
Visitation options may include:
Level I Supervision
- We provide Level I supervision when all parties agree to the visitation—the parties involved in the visitation are not left alone, but are allowed some privacy.
- Service is provided by a family resource specialist.
Level II Supervision
- A therapeutic or assessment-level supervision is available when it's determined that intensive supervision is in the best interest of the family.
- Service is provided by a degreed clinician.
- Observations and written reports are provided.
