The Villages can not rely solely on state and federal resources as a primary source of revenue. Sadly, funding for children in care only covers the basic needs. Help us nurture a child and change their world… forever!

Imagine the fear and uncertainty of a first-time mother who is alone and afraid, until she is embraced by her Healthy Families' support worker and gradually gains confidence as a parent.

A gift of $25 provides a "New Mother's Baby Care Package" for an at-risk first time mother in need of bottles, diapers and baby clothes.

Imagine the fear of an 18-year-old raised in the child welfare system who feels completely alone in his journey to adulthood until The Villages' Transitional Living social worker becomes his mentor, coach and friend.

A gift of $50 provides a "Healthy Me Basket" for teens entering adulthood who desperately needs toiletries, home cleaning supplies and other necessities to help them live in a safe and healthy way on their own.

Imagine being 75-years-old and asked to take in your granddaughter whose parent's can no longer provide a safe environment for her, yet financially you are not prepared to support someone other than yourself.

A gift of $100 supports an emergency assistance fund for vulnerable families who need financial assistance with life essentials.

Imagine being a foster parent or a new adoptive parent who wants to provide the best for the children in your care – to help your child fulfill their dreams.

A gift of $250 supports the summer enrichment program, providing foster and adoptive children a better quality of life through summer camp, cultural and educational programs and activities.
