Family Night at Victory Field a Success!

Temperatures reaching 100° and a heat index of 110° didn't keep over 600 Villages' children, families and donors away from Victory Field when the Indians took on the Charlotte Knights on July 21st. The Villages' annual Family Night at Victory Field presented by BKD was the HOTTEST ticket in town when many came out to support their favorite Indianapolis baseball team and charity.

Nearly 300 Villages' children and their families attend the game thanks to the generosity of donors. And for many of these children it was their first time at the ballpark. "I had a lot of fun", said 7-year-old Joseph*. This special boy attended the game with his new foster parents as their first outing as a new family. The memories this amazing family created that evening will last a lifetime.

Family Night at Victory Field is an amazing opportunity for the entire Villages' community to come together to support our mission of championing families for children. Over $8,000 was raised to support The Villages' programs and services offered to vulnerable children in our community. On behalf of The Villages' children we extend a special thank you to our presenting sponsors, BKD, LLP, and our event partners, the Indianapolis Indians, for making this evening possible. We look forward to an even bigger and better Family Night at Victory Field next year!
