What is Centralized Admissions?
The Villages has a statewide director and staff that are only focused on admitting and placing referred children. These social workers will work with you on specific case needs, then utilize local offices to find the best placements for your children.
What steps are involved in making a referral?
There are several ways to contact the admissions staff. You can call directly, email information to the above staff, or fax the information to The Villages. If you prefer, you may email the completed Child Referral Form Child Referral Form and email it directly to the admissions staff at +childreferrals+@villages.org.
What if I am placing a child in another county?
Our staff is prepared to connect you with office and families across the state. If you are calling from Fort Wayne and need to send a child near a relative in Indianapolis, our staff will help by directly contacting the local Villages office and requesting information for foster families in that area matching your child's needs.
Does The Villages help with after hours emergency placements?
Each Villages office when called after hours or on the weekends has a pager number announced that allows for assistance in emergency situations. We will do everything we can to find matches for you when these situations occur.
How can I be sure I'm making the proper placement?
Our staff will be happy to provide with any information you need regarding services, as well as walk you step by step through the referral and placement process. If we are unable to staff your current needs, we will assist you in finding other agency's with which you can find acceptable placement options.
